San Francisco - Part 1
THURSDAY, AUGUST 14Jennie, Kris, and Jude traveled out there to Candlestick Park, site of the Beatles' last concert. The Beatles show was the first concert at Candlestick; Paul's would be the last-ever event there.
On show day, we set off early to avoid traffic. Next door to Jude's hotel was an El Torito - reminder for Kris of her days in LA!
We arrived early and were able to listen to soundcheck from outside the stadium.
Special "Last Pick at the 'Stick" t-shirts and sweatshirts were on sale at the merch stands.

M. had warned Jennie to wear "winter clothes" for the chilly
Candlestick temps.The cool breeze was relentless as we waited outside
for doors to open, but no parkas were needed.
Special souvenir "tickets" were handed out on entry to the stadium.
